This armed position involves conducting routine patrols, delivering exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with all individuals on site. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.

Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company policies and training.

Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency services as needed during incidents.

Follow all Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as any site-specific guidelines provided by the client.

Minimum Requirements :

Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.

An armed guard card or license is required.

A college degree is required.

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A corrections officer license is required.

Applicants must provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.

A law enforcement officer license is required.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
