Locum Tenens Opportunity : General Medicine Physician Near Fort Wayne, IN

We are seeking General Medicine Physicians to conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments near Fort Wayne, IN. This is a locum tenens position on a PRN basis with an ongoing need. If you specialize in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or have a general medicine background, this opportunity provides a way to serve veterans in a non-treatment capacity while offering flexible working conditions.

Responsibilities : Perform C&P Exams :

Conduct one-time, non-treatment exams for veterans, including interviews and limited physical exams such as range of motion testing and muscle strength assessments.

Two Options for Coverage :

Travel to a leased facility to conduct exams.

Flexible Scheduling :

Choose between half-day shifts (4 hours) or full-day shifts (8 hours) based on your availability.

Qualifications :

Board Certified Physician in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or a related field with experience in general medicine or performing compensation and pension exams.

Proficiency in :

Using a goniometer for physical assessments.

Certification Requirements :

Active state medical license in Indiana.
