Automated Process Support Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic Automated Process Support Engineer to support our cutting-edge Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) team. You will provide technical support for automated process equipment to keep operations performing safely, reliably, and at peak efficiency.

This position is part of DuPont's Electronics and Industrial Division moving to the new Electronics Company ( Qnity ). It offers exposure to high-growth global businesses delivering materials to the electronics and industrial sectors. Our CMP facilities feature batch polymer manufacturing, film coating, and converting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Newark Automation and Process Control (A&PC) team to support manufacturing plant operations.
• Provide day-to-day technical support for automated process equipment, addressing challenges related to robotics, vision systems, barcoding, and scanning equipment.
• Contribute to capital projects, including design reviews, commissioning, and acceptance testing.
• Contribute to Machine Risk Assessments (MRAs) and ensure compliance with DuPont S1M machine safety standards.
• Collaborate with external vendors to support equipment upgrades, repairs, and qualifications.
