Health Unit Coordinator

Wage Range : $24.25 - $37.23 per hour

The Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) is responsible for clerical and reception functions and facilitating communication on assigned units.

Primary Duties :

• Provides customer service to patients, families, and the cross-functional team.
• Facilitates communications - scheduling, coverage of telephones and nurse call systems.
• Maintains patient records, CPOE and unit census records on a daily basis.
• Coordinates admissions, transfers and discharges to the Charge Nurse and appropriate departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
