Tool and Die Maker

Set up and operate all equipment necessary to provide production fixturing / tooling for current or new products, develop prototype parts / components leading to production parts.

Hours are Monday – Thursday 5am – 3pm

Pay : Starting at 21.00 to 26.00

Job Responsibilities :

• Develop production techniques for new products.
• Produce and verify parts as outlined in procedures and work instructions in the department manual.
• Develop tool fixtures.
• Provide technical support to all departments as required.
• Demonstrate ability to train and coach.
• Make Supervisor / Plant Manager aware of changes needed to process routers and procedures as necessary.
• Make Supervisor / Plant Manager aware of safety issues and concerns.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as directed.
• Perform duties as directed by Supervisor / Plant Manager.
• Dispose of scrap material as directed. Authorization to scrap material must be approved by Supervisor / Plant Manager.
• Make Plant Manager aware of any non-conformance in product.
