SUMMARY :

Responsible for over-seeing the building and assembly and enclosures while under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Oversee, train and layout the processes for the building and assembly of enclosures, sub-assemblies and custom enclosures.
• Develop training schedule for team and assembly lines.
• Review work tickets, drawings and BOM's to ensure accuracy.
• Ability to identify problems and evaluate solutions through corrective actions and lean processes.
• Regularly seeks input from appropriate management; peers if necessary and makes sound decisions.
• Work with team to increase productivity, quality and flow.
• Practice lean manufacturing methods.
• Abide by all rules and regulations as set forth in your employee handbook.
• Sustains 5S in workstations.
• Practices ESL’s core values on a daily basis.
• Perform other duties / tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

1 year of experience as an assembler

1-year electrical experience

1 year of forklift experience

1-2 years of working lead manufacturing experience strongly preferred
