Position : Dietitian Assistant
What You'll Do : As a Dietitian Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in screening patients for nutrition risk, updating nutrition profiles, and adjusting patient menus under the direction of the registered dietitian.
What We're Looking For :
Minimum of 1 year experience in food service or related fields to contribute effectively to the team.
Skills :Utilize strong English language skills for reading, writing, and verbal communication.
Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and colleagues.Communicate proficiently with patients and their families of diverse ages.Apply knowledge of diet therapy, nutrition screening, and modified diets.Use computer skills for data entry.Calculate formula nutrients accurately.Education :High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications :Enrollment in Nutrition classes preferred.

Clinical Responsibilities :Screen patients for nutrition risk and update records in the Kardex.
Maintain and update clinical nutrition records to reflect physician diet orders, patient allergies, food preferences, and risk levels.Modify patient menus based on prescribed diets.Perform calorie counts and visit patients for food preferences.Accurately document responsibilities using hospital computer systems.Professional Development and Quality Improvement :Participate in continuing education to support professional development goals and stay informed of recent research and literature.
Contribute to the development and upkeep of department policies and procedures.Engage in departmental performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.Key Responsibilities :
