The base pay range for this position is $112,500 - $411,500. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. Position description

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of California, San Diego (https : / / obgyn.ucsd.edu / index.html ) is committed to academic excellence within the faculty, staff, and student body. We are currently seeking physicians in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI), Gynecologic Oncology (GynOnc), Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), Complex Family Planning (FP), Hospitalist, and General Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob / Gyn).

The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and teaching, providing clinical care, and / or conducting research.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's background and experience.

As a member of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, the appointee should be aware that there are limitations on outside professional activities and clinical moonlighting is expressly prohibited. Qualifications

Basic qualifications

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree, PhD or MD / PhD in areas of Reproductive Medicine or health related fields.

Candidates with an MD or equivalent degree must be board eligible or board certified in areas of Ob / Gyn & Reproductive Sciences.

Candidates with an MD or equivalent degree must be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification / permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
