About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience required

License : Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License

Certifications : ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI / AVADE / CalmEveryStorm required

Must-Have : EPIC experience required

Description :

Do not need license in hand to apply.

Must obtain required license before contract begins.

Flex Shift - 17 : 00-05 : 30 or 19 : 00-07 : 30.

Must work every other weekend.

Floating is required at the discretion of the facility.

Assigned to a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to.

Traveler must be available to work every other weekend and holiday.

Facility reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract.

Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives.

Additional Skills :

Experience with arterial line management, blood product administration, and central line care / management.

Knowledge of continuous IV sedation, CPAP / BiPAP, and management of dysrhythmias.

Ability to interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.

Experience with IV vasopressors and managing ventilated patients.

Experience with triage, starting and maintaining IVs, and assessment and management of traumatic injuries.

Experience in working with neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Patient Care Details :

Daily census with a significant number of visits per day.

Interdisciplinary support includes various specialized teams.

Diverse range of patient diagnoses and care required.
