Soliant, in partnership with districts in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based contract position.
This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives by providing essential speech and language services to support their educational success.
Educational and Licensing Requirements :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Missouri state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in the field of speech-language pathology.
Job Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific speech and language needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language delays.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' academic progress and social-emotional development.
- Attend and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to the creation and implementation of students' educational plans.
