Unit : Medical / Surgical (Med / Surg)

Shift : Night Shift (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Hours per Week : 36

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Start Date : December 8, 2025

Openings Available : 4 Med / Surg RN positions

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1740 - $1860

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Pennsylvania or compact state

BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required prior to first shift

ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required prior to first shift

Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience in Med / Surg or acute care

ICU experience highly desired for Med / Surg travel nurse roles

Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission

Develop individualized care plans and identify patient teaching needs

Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses

Initiate discharge planning and patient education from admission

Communicate changes in patient status to the healthcare team for continuity and safety

Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and new staff

Promote patient and employee safety by following hospital policies and procedures

Contribute to team building and a positive work environment

Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities
