Job Description

• This role requires deep knowledge of Ansible, infrastructure-as-code principles, and best practices to ensure seamless automation, deployment, and configuration management.
• Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, modules, and inventories for large-scale environments.
• Architect and administer Ansible Tower / AWX including workflows, job templates, RBAC, credentials, and inventories.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, patching, and compliance across Linux / Unix, Windows, network devices, and cloud platforms.
• Write reusable and modular Ansible roles following best practices (Galaxy standards).
• Build and maintain CI / CD automation pipelines using Ansible with GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Integrate Ansible automation with VMware, Red Hat, Kubernetes, cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP) and other enterprise platforms.
• Migrate manual operational tasks to automated workflows to achieve consistency and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation code for performance and reliability.
• Develop documentation, SOPs, and maintenance procedures for automated systems.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate automation into CI / CD pipelines and cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement security best practices through automation, ensuring systems comply with relevant standards (e.g., CIS benchmarks, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
• Perform vulnerability assessments, automate patching, and manage the remediation of security issues.
• Apply infrastructure-as-code principles to provision and manage infrastructure using Ansible and other related tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Infrastructure, Networking, Security) to deliver automation solutions.
