Tanium SME

TEKsystems is currently seeking a Desktop Engineer with 7+ years of experience in enterprise desktop engineering, with a strong emphasis on Tanium for desktop application packaging, PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Intune, and SCCM. This role will focus on designing, packaging, deploying, and managing the lifecycle of enterprise applications, with a critical focus on leveraging Tanium for automation and compliance.

• Top Skills :
• Expertise in Tanium, particularly in application packaging, deployment, and compliance monitoring.
• Proven experience with PowerShell scripting in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of Windows OS, hardware platforms, and Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and SCCM for device and application management.
• Ability to lead initiatives and drive technical direction in desktop engineering.
• Key Responsibilities :
• Engineer and maintain enterprise desktop applications using Tanium, ensuring efficient packaging, deployment, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate application lifecycle processes.
• Utilize Microsoft Intune and SCCM for modern device management and policy enforcement.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for application packaging and deployment strategies.
• Design and implement solutions for both on-premise and cloud-based environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop a sustainable patching and update methodology.
• Ensure all engineering solutions comply with security and compliance standards.
• Support legacy integrations, macros, and add-ins as needed.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to share best practices.
• Work closely with service and product managers to define and document service requirements.

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00 / hr.
