Job Summary
The Senior Information Technology Infrastructure Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing large-scale infrastructure initiatives across data centers, cloud environments, enterprise networks, and facility construction / renovation projects. This senior role requires a strong technical foundation across networking, cabling, data center operations, cloud migration, and facility technology, combined with proven project management and Agile / Scrum leadership capabilities.
The coordinator will oversee cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, ensure compliance with IT / Facilities standards, and enable seamless technology deployment for new sites, production facilities, cloud workloads, and data center environments. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on infrastructure knowledge, disciplined project coordination skills, strong vendor management, and the ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-site, and regulated environments.

Required Skills
Deep knowledge of IT Infrastructure , including data centers, LAN / WAN, structured cabling, fiber / copper, switching, routing, and network hardware deployment.Expertise in data center operations , including power, cooling, UPS, generators, security, racking, space planning, and environmental systems.Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and migrations (AWS, OpenStack, cloud automation, cloud patterns).Experience coordinating infrastructure builds , site transitions, facility construction, and office relocations.Proficiency with project management methodologies , documentation, risk tracking, and reporting.Advanced Scrum Master / Agile abilities—facilitation, backlog management, burn-down charts, velocity tracking, Kanban optimization.Strong vendor coordination skills (cabling, network providers, electrical, construction).Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Planview, CA Clarity , and similar PM platforms.Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD , engineering diagrams, patching matrices, and technical site drawings.Knowledge of ITIL practices , change control, maintenance planning, and compliance (PCI, FedRAMP, NIST standards).Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Hands-On Technical Experience
Deployment and support of Cisco 6500 / 4500 / 3500 series switches, LAN / WAN architectures, MPLS migrations, and 10 / 100Gbps backbone upgrades.Data center migration and build-out experience including :Structured cabling installation, fiber / copper standards (BISCI TDMM 12th Ed.)Power distribution (UPS, generators, phase balancing)Cooling and HVAC systems (CRAC, in-row coolers)Access control / security systems (RFID, biometrics, CCURE)Pre-action fire suppression systems (NFPA 72).Cloud platform experience with AWS , OpenStack , Cloud Foundry , and Kubernetes-based DevOps environments.Managing large-scale site transitions, branch office builds, relocations, and telecom / electrical infrastructure setup.Coordinating facility technology integration including BMS, building security, patching matrices, and data room design.Experience supporting AI, automation , and enterprise application development teams in Agile environments.Strong background in network commissioning , equipment installations, circuit ordering, and vendor oversight.Preferred Skills
Experience supporting construction, commissioning, or large facility build-outs.Knowledge of manufacturing / industrial facility IT / OT integrations.Familiarity with TRANE BMS, MGE UPS units, APC cooling systems.Security compliance experience (PCI, FedRAMP / NIST).Advanced training in OpenStack, Agile SAFe, Linux Foundation courses, and security tools (StealthWatch).Strong documentation skills using tools such as Jive, ARCHIBUS, Power Steering PPM, Visio.Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related disciplineOR equivalent experience in IT Infrastructure and project leadership.Preferred Certifications :
