CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Business Development Leader - Manufacturing to join our Power & Manufacturing - Advanced Energy & Manufacturing Team working remotely .

From planning to design, to improving operations and creating cost efficiency, we help manufacturers do more and optimize their manufacturing facilities.

The Business Development Leader will develop, implement, and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall business strategy and collaborate with the leadership team to identify and pursue new business opportunities. At CHA, this key role will maintain a client database (CRM), generate and follow-up on leads; develop content in support of social media, marketing campaigns, website, and industry conferences; and coach staff on client engagement and business development strategies.

Additionally, the Business Development Leader will oversee the annual sales budget and sales pipeline and actively participate in networking groups and attend conferences, meetings, and industry events. The professional in this role will work closely with the business leadership to ensure strategic alignment, provide weekly updates, support the development of marketing materials, and assist in reviewing proposals as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or related field) required

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the life sciences, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries with proven success as a leader
  • Strong existing connections within the U.S life sciences, pharmaceutical and chemical industries
  • Technically astute and strategic in thinking to properly position the team for strong technical and financial performance and client satisfaction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and understanding of their team
  • An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, build and manage relationships across the company, and influence decisions from the top down and bottom up
  • Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential matters and sensitive information or situations with discretion
  • Experience working with engineering firms, contract manufacturers, or industrial solutions providers
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, securing long-term contracts, and expanding market share
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for customers
  • Strong relationship-building skills with C-suite executives, procurement teams, and engineering leaders

SALARY RANGE : $160,000 - $185,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
