Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for evening shifts, requiring an OK or compact RN license and at least one year of OR experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting

Evening shifts, Monday through Thursday, 4x10 hours from 21 : 00 to 7 : 15

Uses the Epic EMR system; experience with Epic is preferred

Assignment is a 13-week contract

Does not accept local candidates residing within 50 miles

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

No travel pairs or groups will be considered

No more than three days of requested time off will be automatically approved

No time off is allowed during the first week of orientation

Requirements

Active OK or compact RN license required at the time of consideration

Minimum one year of Operating Room RN experience required; one to two years preferred

Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required

Epic charting experience preferred but not required

Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
