Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager - Fund & Property Accounting
Location : San Francisco (Embarcadero) | Hybrid : 4-5 days / week in office
Compensation : $125,000 - $150,000 + 15% Bonus

As a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager, you'll lead fund and property-level accounting, financial reporting, and compliance efforts. You'll collaborate closely with the CFO and external partners to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency across the firm's investment portfolio.
Manage monthly accounting for real estate assets, including variance analysis and cash flow reviews
Partner with fund administrators to produce quarterly investor reports, ensuring alignment with LPAs and waterfall models
Analyze fund and property performance metrics to support strategic decisions
Assist with quarterly valuations, financial modeling, and sensitivity analyses
Coordinate annual audits and tax filings with external auditors and tax advisors
Oversee capital calls, distributions, and carry calculations for funds and co-investments
Support SEC compliance reporting and respond to ad hoc investor requests
Collaborate with operating partners and internal teams to maintain accurate financial data
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
3-6 years of experience in fund accounting, ideally with exposure to real estate investments
Solid understanding of GAAP and fair value accounting principles
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Self-starter with a proactive mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
