Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day and month-end financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics for financial management and reporting. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely reporting, and supporting internal accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts regularly

Maintain and update accounting records and files

Prepare and review invoices, expense reports, and payroll entries

Lead and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

Generate and analyze financial reports and summaries for management

Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards

Support external audits and tax preparation as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience as a senior accountant or in a similar financial / accounting role

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (required)

Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)

High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
