Standard Communities is seeking a Senior Director of Real Estate Portfolio Asset Management who will work 100% onsite in our Washington, DC office. This role is critical in overseeing the performance and operations of a portfolio of assets in the mid-Atlantic area. The Senior Director will serve as the main liaison between ownership and third-party property management, ensuring optimal asset performance and strategic execution across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic asset planning and performance management for the mid-Atlantic portfolio
• Analyze and manage property-level financials, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budgets
• Oversee implementation of capital improvement projects and major repairs
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with property managers and vendors
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, in coordination with the Compliance team
• Maintain and track obligations under partnership, loan, and regulatory agreements
• Serve as a point of contact for investor, lender, and stakeholder communications
• Conduct regular site visits and market evaluations in Florida to support ongoing strategy
• Assist Construction Services and Acquisitions teams with project coordination as needed
• This role is 100% on-site with travel to sites about once a quarter.
