Procurement Specialist, Aftermarket

As a Procurement Specialist, Aftermarket, you will negotiate and administer life of program contract terms, conditions, and pricing to achieve Collins Aerospace financial and business objectives.
What You Will Do
- You will work onsite in Chula Vista, CA.
- Interface with program leadership, engineering, quality, production control, internal and external suppliers, and internal customers.
- Manage several suppliers / components and will be responsible for delivery and quality assurance, cost management, quote preparation, negotiations, and contract award.
- Time management skills and the ability to handle high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment are essential with minimal guidance or direction from others.
- Embrace our lean and continuous improvement philosophy of the CORE operating system. Participation in CORE engagements / Kaizen events and activities will be required.
- Supply Chain experience - Place purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and negotiate long term agreements.
- Provide delivery assurance, cost management, and use their experience and industry-leading tools to ensure 100 percent on-time delivery and quality.
- Prepare Request for Quotes (RFQ's), participate in negotiations and issue Purchase Orders in a timely manner.
- Travel up to 10% domestically.

Digital tools Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Tableau, SQLExperience in the Aerospace industry.SAP or similar ERP systems proficiency.MS office experience, creating PowerPoint presentations.Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Tools i.e. Lean, Six Sigma.Able to communicate and make presentations to senior level leadership.Work independently, remain calm under pressure and deal with ambiguity.What We Offer
