Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated and passionate First Grade Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on young learners.
This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of educators and contribute to the academic and social development of our students.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and encourages student participation.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents / guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate interdisciplinary activities and projects.
- Communicate effectively with parents / guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and academic goals.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current on educational trends.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching license / certification in the state of Missouri.
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in a first-grade setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in elementary education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents / guardians.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
