Job description

Associate Inventory Control Coordinator

Pay : $23.96 per hour

Shift & Working Hours : 1st shift; Monday-Friday; 7 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM. Weekends / Overtime / Holidays as needed, hours subject to business needs

Inventory Control Coordinator ensures the company has the right amount of goods in stock and is responsible for avoiding shortages or excess inventory; compiles records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing and equipment; working with several departments and all warehouses. Job duties will include but will not be limited to, handling inventories, coordinating with staff, tracking shipments, providing support to managers, and discovering inconsistencies between stocks and records.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee inventory according to company guidelines.

Prepare reports for safety stock, inventory gaps and maintain records of all items received.

Ensure inventory count is accurate; assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.

Coordinate and Integrate efforts across operational departments to include quality, accounting, sales, production, warehouse, customer service and purchasing to enhance inventory accuracy.

Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures.

Ensure inventory transfers, general movements, and cycle counts are accurately recorded in system.

Required Experience and Skills :

Must be 18 years or older

1+ year of warehousing work experience

Microsoft excel experience

Stand up / sit down forklift or reach truck experience

Basic computer and math skills

Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions

Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot

Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful

Preferred Experience :

Inventory control or cycle count experience

Physical Requirements :

Able to lift / carry up to 50 pounds

Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending / stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements

Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment

Working in temperature zones that include cold and / or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present

Required to work scheduled shift which may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime
