ABOUT THE JOB
Anduril is looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to take charge of the design and development of cutting‑edge avionics systems for UAVs. In this role, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to design, test, and deliver high‑performance electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands‑on experience with analog and digital electronics, PCB design, and avionics standards, along with the ability to lead technical teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects. This is an exciting opportunity to lead innovative projects and drive the technical direction of key initiatives, while collaborating with internal teams to push the boundaries of technology.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Hands‑on Engineering : Actively participate in the design, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, PCB layouts, and other electronic systems.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including software, firmware, and mechanical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Mentorship : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping to develop the team's capabilities.
- System Testing and Validation : Oversee system‑level testing and validation to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and reliability standards.
- Vendor Coordination : Interface with vendors to source and select appropriate components for designs, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Project Management : Support project timelines and ensure that technical milestones are met, reporting on progress to senior management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience : 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on avionics, UAV systems, or similar industries.Technical Expertise : Strong hands‑on knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, PCB design, and avionics systems.Project Management : Ability to oversee the technical aspects of projects from concept to delivery, ensuring that deadlines and specifications are met.Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with avionics design standards like DO-254, MIL-STD-810, and others.Proficiency with Altium Designer or equivalent PCB design tools.Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.COMPENSATION
US Salary Range
$140,000 – $213,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and / or training, critical skills, and / or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full‑time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
