Key Responsibilities Design and Analysis : Develop electrical system design (utility services, power, lighting, etc.) in line with project requirements and industry standards. System Integration : Ensure electrical systems are integrated seamlessly with other MEP systems (mechanical, plumbing, etc.) for optimal performance. Site Surveys : Conduct on-site surveys and assessments to gather data, evaluate existing conditions, and inform system design and coordination. Client Collaboration : Work closely with clients, architects, and other engineering professionals to develop customized solutions. Project Management : Assist in managing project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within cost constraints. Supervision : Provide guidance and oversight to production engineers, ensuring quality work. Technical Support : Provide technical support to the team and clients during the project lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and final delivery. Code Compliance : Ensure all mechanical systems comply with relevant local and international codes, regulations, and standards. Documentation and Reporting : Prepare and review technical documentation, specifications, reports, and drawings.
Qualifications & Skills Education : Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with a MEP design or consulting firm. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
Technical Skills : Proficient in electrical design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Energy Pro, Visual, AGI SKM etc). Strong understanding of building codes and standards, including LEED certification processes. Project Management : Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing technical, time, and budgetary constraints. Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize mechanical systems. Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Additional Preferred Skills Experience in high-profile, large-scale projects.
