Our initial venture in August 2023 involved acquiring a majority interest in the non-attest assets of a top 300 US-based national firm, positioning us alongside the top 100 US accounting firms based on cumulative revenue. With over ten partner firms, several deals under LOI, and substantial committed capital, Crete PA is poised to shortly become equivalent to a top 40 firm in terms of aggregate revenue, with ambitions to expand into a multi-country platform. Supported by ZBS Partners, a firm managing over $500 million in assets, and led by co-founders experienced in developing multi-industry platforms, Crete PA partners with local firms to enhance their independence while boosting their revenue and profitability.

Our partner firm, Reid Accountants + Advisors, is hiring! Reid Accountants + Advisors is an independent, full-service certified public accounting firm specializing in accounting and consulting services for businesses and individuals. We currently have offices in Long Island, NYC and White Plains. Join a rapidly growing organization with a strategic vision and dynamic plan.

The Accounts Receivable (A / R) Specialist will join our team in entering collections, posting, and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A / R issues, prepare aging reports, placing billing and collection calls, and maintaining and updating the firm’s A / R, database.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in accounts receivable and collection efforts of the firm

Accurate recording and maintenance of client and collection documents

Contact existing clients for general collection or to help resolve payment issues and possible setup of payment plans

Process and post accounts receivable transactions received from various sources

Generate reports for time, billing, and open A / R, and others as needed

Attend meetings with management and partners to review collection efforts and areas for improvement

Create and send invoices and statements, including monthly / quarterly billings

Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner maintain strong customer relations

Consistently maintain a professional demeanor

Other duties may be assigned, as needed or required

Qualifications and Requirements :

3+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

Strong analytical skills in accounts receivable and general accounting

Detail oriented, accurate and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and record keeping

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Type : Full-time

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 9 : 00AM – 5 : 30PM

Work Location : In person

Ability to commute / relocate : Woodbury, NY : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

This position operates as part of a US East Coast-based team, with typical working hours aligning with EST to facilitate effective collaboration.
