Cath Lab Technologist - Travel Position

Location : Olathe, KS

Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 4x10s Days

Pay : $2840 / week

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The technologist will assist physicians in the Cardiac Cath Lab, ensure accurate imaging, and provide safe, high-quality patient care in both routine and emergency cases.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and operate specialized equipment for cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures.

Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamics, promptly reporting changes.

Assist physicians with angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker implantation, and electrophysiology procedures.

Administer contrast media under physician supervision and ensure proper imaging.

Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

Accurately document procedures and patient care in the medical record.

Participate in call rotation and respond to emergency cardiac cases.

Qualifications :

1 year of recent Cath Lab Tech experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting

Ability to float to the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab; experience with pacemakers required

Current ARRT (R) or RCIS certification

BLS and ACLS certifications

Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
