The Alaska Court System is seeking dependable and organized individuals to serve as bailiffs—an important role that supports the court's mission of delivering fair and efficient justice.
As a bailiff, you will be responsible for escorting jurors in and out of the courtroom before, during, and after trials. You'll help maintain the integrity of the deliberation process by ensuring that jurors are not contacted or influenced by outside parties. Additionally, you will assist with coordinating meals, lodging, and transportation for jurors when necessary, and accompany them to meals and support basic personal errands as needed.
This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of the judicial process in a respectful, structured environment. It's a great fit for individuals who are calm under pressure, attentive to detail, and enjoy helping others navigate an important civic responsibility. If you're looking for meaningful work that contributes to your community, we encourage you to apply.
