The Senior Event Manager will also take an active role in administration of event related correspondence and on-site support of events. This includes fostering key relationships and contacts to ensure the achievement of increased company value and reputation. The scope of this position includes supporting the integrity of Butler's Pantry's services, in both sales and event experiences.

Coordinate with culinary, operations, accounting and purchasing departments throughout the life of the eventWork with the Sales Manager or Director to ensure accurate and timely creation and administration of BEOs in an orderly mannerDevelop floor plan designs, provide logistical support and actively support the preliminary planning processBecome fluent in catering software (Caterease), diagramming software (Prism), staffing software (Nowsta) and any other technology as requiredInteract regularly with supervisors to ensure individual growth priorities are aligned with company business strategyCommunicate via phone calls, emails and in person with prospective and existing clientele in a warm and effective, yet professional mannerShow your stuff (the fun) :
Oversee catered events, from contract through execution; keeping in mind the importance of follow upShow the client you've got their back, and then take over primary communications from the Sales ManagerProvide input and expertise in the event sales and planning process-as required, including necessary feedback from culinary, operations, accounting, purchasing, marketing & design departmentsPlan and attend site visits to create the perfect event design to knock your clients' socks offGet to know your clients, and develop relationships that will enable you to execute events beyond their wildest imaginationIdentify critical issues and potential problems before they occur, troubleshoot the unexpectedMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networksTake the lead, finish the race (the difference) :
Set an example for and support service staff members, clients and guests at eventBe confident fielding questions on-site from vendors, planners, clients or fellow team membersModel appropriate behavior and encourage team members to follow suitSupport a department climate that attracts, retains and motivates top quality sales employeesAct as an ambassador of the Company by sharing the Company's values, vision and mission with othersAdditional Qualifications and Requirements :
Completion of Degree or Certificate program from an accredited institution and 2 to 4 years relevant experience are preferred.
