Qualifications :
Here's what you'll need :
- Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electronics or Instrumentation.
- At Least 3 years of Industrial System Integration Experience
- Knowledge of PLCs and SCADA systems.
- Experience with Rockwell and GE / Emerson PLCs.
- Experience with inductive automation Ignition software packages.
- Knowledge of Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID).
- Proficient in using Microsoft Suite, including MS Word, Access, Outlook and Excel.
Ideally, you'll also have :
Experience with Cimplicity and Rockwell programming packages.Understanding of pressure, temperature, flow, level switches, calibration, and maintenance knowledge.Understand analogue, digital, and relay field wiring and troubleshooting.SQL server experience.Experience building industrial control panels.Autocad experienceOther Requirements :
This is an on-site position requiring work to be performed on the client site in Santa Clara / Sunnyvale, CA.The candidate must be willing to commute to the site Monday-Friday during normal business hours, nominally 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm with some flexibility based on the ability of the site to support and employee preference.After-hours on-call support services are occasionally requested.Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates.Physical Requirements :
The position requires field visits and walks at an active client site in various stages of construction. The applicant must be able to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks, work in small spaces, and lift and carry up to 25 lbs.Authorized to Work :

We're looking for an Intermediate Systems Integration Engineer in Santa Clara, California, who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us, and you'll have the chance to work on projects including semiconductors, industrial and commercial facilities. You'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering and programming tasks as you gain familiarity with the clients' expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You'll also provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your primary focus will be on configuration and programming of facility management system PLCs and HMI / SCADA interfaces. The role has the opportunity for growth expansion to work with our team in highly complex systems. The multi-discipline, highly interactive team produces designs for electrical circuits and panels utilising CAD applications and designs for control systems for a variety of facility core and shell processes and develops options and optimizations for all aspects of the process control, instrumentation, and automation.
