IT Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst in Miami, FL.Summary : This is within the Information Management team as they build a stronger IT Configuration Management Program. They are seeking for an IT Business Systems Analyst to fill the role of IT Configuration Analyst. The responsibilities will include ensuring that the required information for Configuration Items (CI) is managed at each stage of the CI lifecycle; provisioning, operations, and decommission.IT Business Systems / Configuration Analyst :

• Responsible for executing day-to-day operational activities supporting the provisioning, monitoring and decommission processes required to develop and maintain configuration baselines
• Ensures that all CIs baseline changes comply internal and external regulatory controls, according to their classification
• Investigates potential unauthorized deviations to CI baselines
• Works with Subject Matter Experts to resolve the non-authorized CI baseline changes
• Expected to identify and participate in continuous improvement opportunities to fine-tune related processes
• Collects and analyses data to support defined metrics, and report on the effectiveness of IT configuration management processes
• Functions as the technical liaison with change control processes and authority to support impact analysis of change execution
• Works with the Asset Manager to support CMDB (Configuration Management Database) processes, work instructions and activities in compliance with ITIL framework
• Works with the Asset Manager to support the accuracy of Configuration Items (CIs) in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), including regular audits of the Configuration Items to ensure that all records and relationships are complete and up to date

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
