Job descriptionMonitor and coordinate communication between security personnel and campus staff using radios, telephones, and computer systems. Dispatch security-related personnel to various locations on campus in response to incidents, emergencies, and routine requests. Document and log all calls, incidents, and dispatch activities accurately and in a timely manner. Assist in monitoring access control systems, alarms, and video surveillance feeds to help to deter unauthorized activity on campus. Communicate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required, following site-specific procedures. Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from students, faculty, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Remain aware of ongoing campus activities and relay relevant information to Allied Universal team members as needed. Support campus emergency response activities by initiating appropriate notifications and following established protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. - Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
