Director of Purchasing

A prominent service provider in the electrical & mechanical contracting industry is seeking a Director of Purchasing in the Jacksonville, Florida area.

Candidates Must Have :

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred for this role.
• 6 or more years of electrical material purchasing experience for a contractor, distributor, or manufacturer.
• Certified Purchasing Professional certification is a plus for this role.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing full procurement scope, including sourcing, contract negotiating, supplier management, and cost control.
• Experience leading a team of purchasing / procurement professionals.
• Experience working in or with the commercial construction industry is a plus for this role.
