Accounts Receivable Specialist - Hanover, PA

About the Company and Accounts Receivable Specialist Opportunity

CFS is partnering with a repeat client in Hanover, PA to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist to cover for a medical leave on a contract basis until mid December 2025
This organization offers a great company culture!
Schedule : Fully on site in Hanover, PA. Monday - Friday 8am-4 : 30pm
Pay : 23-25 / hr

Job Duties of the Accounts Receivable Specialist :

Assist with accounts receivable functions including invoicing, cash applications, and collections support

Monitor aging reports and assist with follow-up on past due balances

Process and apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wires, and online payments)

Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies

Research and respond to customer inquiries related to invoices and payments

Prepare AR reports for management including weekly aging summaries

Collaborate with accounting team members on special projects as needed

Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist :

1+ years of AR or accounting experience required

Experience performing reconciliations preferred

Manufacturing industry experience is a plus, but not required

Experience using Sage, DocuWare, and / or HubSpot a plus, but not required

Proficient in Excel (knowledge of VLOOKUP highly beneficial)

Detail-oriented and strong critical thinking skills
