Your mission (should you choose to accept it ) :
As our Senior Actuary, you will serve as the principal quantitative expert bridging business strategy and operational services. You'll provide high-level actuarial oversight across the organization, leading critical initiatives in :
- Advanced risk modeling and portfolio optimization
- Actuarial pricing strategy development
- Product innovation and development
- Implementation of sophisticated AI / ML solutions
- Strategic claims analysis and reserving
- Building analytical capabilities

Lead complex quantitative analyses that drive strategic decision-makingDevelop and implement advanced actuarial modelsDesign innovative pricing methodologiesDeliver executive-level insights on risk assessmentEstablish analytical frameworks and best practicesSupport the team to escape some quantitative labyrinthsCoach / mentor and train quantitative professionalPerfect knowledge of Dutch or French, a good understanding of the other language, and you have no issues with English (if you’re reading this without a translate lens then you might be fine)A Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Engineering, or equivalent senior experienceMinimum 5+ years of actuarial / quantitative experience in insurance or financial servicesAdvanced proficiency in statistical modeling and data analysisExpert-level Microsoft Excel skills and experience with specialized actuarial softwareProven ability to translate complex analyses into actionable business insightsStrategic thinking with demonstrated leadership capabilitiesIndependent problem-solver with strong team collaboration skillsA fondness for numbers and an ease to explain analyses to people with less analytical insights;You proactively tackle issues you discover.You know what makes you tick, are eager to learn and develop yourself;Pragmatic, open for feedback, critical yet positive;Even if you can perfectly work independently you are (self-steered) team minded.Some nice-to-haves :
