Education Travel & Culture (ETC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational exchange organization. We recruit host families across the country for international high-school exchange students. We are looking for a part-time / supplemental income Local Coordinator to join our team.

Overview

ETC provides inbound program opportunities for high school students to study in an American high school and live with an American family. ETCs outbound program offers students the chance to study and live in a foreign country. We operate through a network of local coordinators and dedicated office staff to provide exceptional support for both students and host families.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with exchange students, host families, and local high schools, including monthly oversight of the exchange student.
• Receive full training, teaching, and ongoing support from the Field Manager.
• May be involved in the recruitment of volunteer host families for international high school students.
• LCs recruit host families through reverse networking, job postings, phone calls, and outbound emails.
• Remain flexible and self-motivated as an independent contractor working from home with a schedule based on recruitment and oversight activities.

Qualifications

Compensation & Schedule

Compensation is dependent upon recruitment efforts and student oversight. This position provides supplemental income only. Your hours will be based on how many families you recruit and exchange students you oversee.

This is an independent contractor position which enables you to work at home and within your own schedule.
