Staff Accountant

Our client, a very stable and growing manufacturing company is seeking a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting month-end close activities, maintaining accurate cost records, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting related to inventory and manufacturing operations. This position will play a key role in analyzing costs, assisting with product pricing, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with the month-end close process, including preparing and posting journal entries.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Maintain and analyze raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory records.
• Participate in cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with product cost analysis and pricing updates.
• Support the preparation of cost reports and variance analyses.
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
