Job description
Candidate(s) recommended for hire are subject to a criminal background check. First Section Pool Title POOL - Simulation and Game Development Instructor (Part-time) Pool Number F134-18 Announcement Summary This is a continuous recruitment pool not specifically advertised.

The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates.

We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings.


Qualified candidates will possess excellent computer skills and documented computer programming and game engine experience. Duties Classroom/laboratory teaching of Simulation and Game Development classes including programming in C#, C++, Unity, Unreal, and Level Design. Classes are held days, evenings, and weekends, both on and off campus, and online. Incorporate latest instructional & interactive learning technologies in course delivery. Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Simulation and Game Development, Digital Technologies, Computer Science, or related field and one year of relevant work experience. Must demonstrate (via a portfolio) with 3D modeling and animation software (Maya), and graphic design software (Photoshop). Communication, both oral and written, skills necessary. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

An Associate Degree with extensive experience directly related to the position duties, well documented in the application packet, may be considered in lieu of the bachelor degree requirement. Preferred Qualifications Teaching experience at the community college or four-year college level.
