About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, customer-first Account Specialist to join our team! This role serves as the primary contact for customer accounts — building strong relationships, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and resolving issues with speed and professionalism.

As a key liaison between our customers, sales team, and operations, you’ll play a critical role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while supporting business growth. What You’ll Do

Customer Management

Serve as the go-to contact for account questions, orders, and updates

Process and track customer orders accurately

Ensure timely communication on shipments, changes, and service requests

Maintain clean and up-to-date account records

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Sales, Plant Managers, and Scheduling to meet customer needs

Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction

Operational Support

Monitor and manage inventory aging, customer RFQs, and warranty claims

Provide strategic monthly forecasting insights using JDE or Power BI

Identify and act on service issues before they become problems

Continuous Improvement

Propose and support process improvements

Help optimize warehouse efficiency and resolve product challenges

Share feedback and opportunities with leadership

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.)

5+ years of experience in customer service or account management

Strong communication and organizational skills

Solid understanding of manufacturing processes

Ability and willingness to travel (10–20%)

Hands-on approach — must be able to handle products (crates, trays, pallets)

• Experience with Salesforce, JD Edwards (JDE), and / or EDI is a big plus
