Description :
The Intensive Care Unit provides critical care for patients requiring constant monitoring and advanced interventions.
Registered Nurses in this unit will have the opportunity to provide care to diverse critically ill patients.
Candidates must demonstrate competency in managing complex medical conditions and performing advanced nursing skills.
Floating to the Progressive Care Unit may be required, demanding adaptability and teamwork.
Nurses will perform essential duties such as interpreting dysrhythmias, managing IVs, and administering emergency medications.
Experience with ventilator management and comprehensive patient assessments is necessary.
Successful candidates will engage in infection prevention practices and adhere to safety protocols.
Strong communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are essential for delivering high-quality patient care.
The unit specializes in managing patients with conditions such as ARDS, DKA, acute shock, and cardiac-related issues.
Candidates should be prepared to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
This position requires a commitment to excellence in nursing care and continuous professional development.
