Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant - Full-time, onsite, $20-$23 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm. Join a great team in a productive environment!

Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant

2+ years of recent medical assistant experience required

Recent orthopedics experience highly preferred

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Medical Assistant diploma or certification required

High school diploma or GED required

Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant

Obtain basic vitals and patient history

Document chief complaint

Alert physicians of problems, concerns, and abnormalities

Work with providers to coordinate patient needs

Help with wound care, examinations, treatments, and procedures as needed

Retrieve equipment and supplies

Conduct front desk duties as needed
