Gastroenterology Physician

Location : Cape Coral, FL (Gulf Coast Region)

Start Date : ASAP

Duration : Ongoing through end of year

Credentialing Timeframe : 30 days

Schedule & Coverage :

Shift : Daily 24-hour inpatient call (7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 AM)

Frequency : Minimum 1 full week / month

Call : Nightly or every other night (varies by site)

Site Coverage : One location / day no mid-day travel; flexibility across sites preferred

Duties & Volume :

Inpatient GI hospitalist coverage

Consults, follow-ups, and procedures (scopes)

Patient Volume : patients / day

Required Procedures :

Colonoscopy

Endoscopy

ERCP Required

EUS Preferred (minimum 24 EUS in last 36 months incl. mucosal / submucosal, pancreaticobiliary, FNA)

Support Provided :

Advanced Practice Providers

Fully staffed endoscopy unit

General hospital support

Requirements :

Active FL Medical License

Board Certified in Gastroenterology

Clean NPDB and background

Must meet procedure log thresholds :

50 inpatient / consult patients in past 12 months

Documented ERCP experience
