The Risk / Compliance / Audit Specialist partners with their assigned Line of Business, other RCA professionals, and RCA Managers to :
Create, implement, maintain, review, or oversee an effective risk management frameworkParticipate in projects and activities ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulationsIdentify gaps and recommend solutions to minimize losses from inadequate internal processes, systems, or human errorsIdentify, respond, and escalate risks as appropriateServe as a liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of DefenseResponsibilities
Assist in the implementation of an effective risk management frameworkMonitor systems, databases, information, processes, or proceduresIdentify and escalate matters requiring attention to the appropriate areaPerform project work, assist in policy / procedure assessments, and ensure compliance with laws and regulationsCoordinate data collection and compilation, prepare and deliver reportsSupport report development and data analysisProvide guidance and recommendations to Lines of Business and assist in RCA initiativesBasic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience2–3 years of applicable experiencePreferred Skills & Experience
Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trendsUnderstanding of business line operations, products / services, systems, and associated risks / controlsKnowledge of Risk / Compliance / Audit competenciesAnalytical skills with ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlinesStrong process facilitation and project management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)Effective verbal and written communication skillsBusiness acumen and credibility to help proactively address workforce needsStrong presentation and interpersonal skillsKey Skills
