This 206,878 square-foot facility, located in the Philadelphia area is Catalent’s global Center of Excellence for Clinical Supply Packaging. Catalent offers GMP secondary packaging and clinical labeling services throughout our global network. Packaging can be configured to hold a single product, or multiple products as determined by study requirements. We offer manual patient kit assembly along with semi-automated and automated wallet sealing and high-speed automated carding to meet the needs of studies of all sizes. For temperature sensitive products and those with minimal to zero allowable time out of environment, we can perform secondary packaging in refrigerated and frozen packaging rooms or over dry ice depending upon your project needs. Using our Clinicopia global labeling system with its multi-lingual label phrase library we can design single panel, booklet labels or our unique Peel-ID™ safe storage labels for your studies. Single panel and Peel-ID™ safe storage labels can be conveniently reviewed and approved online via our Fusion portal before being printed and inspected at our facilities.

The Vice President, Project Delivery will lead our global project management and clinical supply management teams in supporting clinical studies for key strategic clients. This is a highly visible, client-facing leadership role responsible for enhancing the client experience, driving operational excellence, ensuring successful delivery of clinical programs, and fostering long-term partnerships with our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

The Role

Lead and scale a high-performing global project delivery organization, including project management and clinical supply management functions.

Develop and execute strategies to ensure best-in-class project delivery aligned with client expectations and business objectives and serve as executive sponsor and escalation point for key clinical programs and strategic accounts.

Oversee the management of complex, multi-functional clinical development and supply projects across all phases. Ensure consistency and quality in project planning, execution, risk mitigation, timeline adherence, and budget management.

Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic clients, acting as a trusted advisor and partner. Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and delivery of exceptional service.

Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of project managers, clinical supply managers, and functional leaders. Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and excellence.

Work closely with Clinical Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Business Development, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless project execution. Act as a key voice in strategic planning and operational readiness for new capabilities, systems, and processes.

Partner with the segment CFO on driving improvements to our invoicing and Accounts Receivable collection efforts.

The Candidate

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering, or related field required; advanced degree (MS, MBA, PhD) preferred.

15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical development, clinical supply, or CDMO environments, with 10+ years in project or program management. Prior experience at a global CDMO or clinical services organization preferred.

Proven leadership of large cross-functional teams and client programs in the clinical development and supply space. Oversight of multi-site or international project delivery teams preferred.

Deep understanding of clinical trials, regulatory requirements, and global supply chain management in a GxP environment.

Executive presence with exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Expertise in project delivery frameworks, KPIs, and digital tools.
