About The Position

Job Title : Interventional Radiology Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Hours per Shift : 07 : 00 - 17 : 30

Experience : Minimum 1 year

License : Texas state license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS

Must-Have :

Travelers must have both Interventional Radiology and CT Technician experience.

Call is required, typically once a week from the end of shift to the following morning.

Weekend call of 24 hours is required, typically every 4-6 weeks as needed to cover for the full-time team.

Two techs and one nurse are part of the call teams.

Description :

This position requires acceptance of candidates with ARRT certification and valid Texas state license.

Shifts are day shifts, 4x10 hour shifts from 07 : 00 to 17 : 30, with rotating weekdays off.

Successful candidates will participate in call rotations, which includes nights and weekends.

Technologists will be involved in a variety of procedures, including but not limited to, adrenal angiography, angioplasty, aortography, and embolization.

Experience in handling equipment setup, maintaining a sterile field, and participating as a circulator in the room is essential.

Candidates must be willing to work collaboratively with the medical team.

Knowledge of Epic charting is preferred.

All certifications must be current at the time of application.

Travelers should be prepared to adhere to additional health and safety protocols as necessary.
