Ed2go is seeking a Director Of Inside Sales who is passionate about supporting learners on their journey to career advancement through education. The successful candidate will lead a manager-of-managers organization, overseeing a high-volume function responsible for driving enrollment growth and learner engagement. This role requires a leader who can build a consistent, data-driven operating rhythm, elevate leadership capability, and foster an equitable and accountable culture that delivers against enrollment, revenue, and profitability goals the kind of performance-driven leader who thrives on building high-conversion funnels, scaling teams, and turning activity into revenue at scale.

What you'll do here :

  • Meet or exceed enrollment, revenue, and profitability goals established for ed2go.
  • Lead and support enrollment managers in achieving individual and team performance goals.
  • Own the full enrollment funnel from lead distribution through conversion ensuring every stage is inspected, optimized, and tied to measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Lead a remote, high-volume enrollment organization through system-based accountability (CRM, dashboards, call performance reporting, etc.), ensuring visibility and consistency across distributed teams.
  • Establish and maintain a structured operating cadence, including funnel reviews, coaching practices, and performance tracking across teams.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term initiatives to increase conversion, reduce cost-to-serve, and enhance the learner experience.
  • Use data to identify performance trends and translate insights into leader-led action plans.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Student Services to improve lead flow, engagement, and operational efficiency.
  • Cultivate a culture of clarity, fairness, and equity, ensuring expectations are communicated consistently, performance is evaluated objectively, and guidance is provided in a timely and transparent manner.
  • Engage in effective talent and performance management across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, coaching, development planning, and organizational design.
  • Effectively communicate ed2go's vision and priorities to leaders and teams, ensuring alignment and follow-through.
  • Present strategic plans and performance updates to senior leadership with clarity and data-backed insight.

Skills you will need here :

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year managing managers (second-line leadership) in an inside sales, enrollment, or call center environment.
  • 10 years of successful inside sales or high-volume engagement experience, including 5 years in a formal leadership role.
  • Proven success leading remote or geographically dispersed sales teams using data systems to drive visibility, coaching, and accountability.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through structured performance practices, such as coaching frameworks, reporting rhythms, or forecast management.
  • Strong analytical and tactical planning skills, with the ability to interpret performance metrics and take targeted action.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and provide transparency across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive results through cross-functional collaboration and operational alignment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to synthesize information and connect strategy to execution at scale.

    Compensation : At Cengage Group, we take great pride in our commitment to providing a comprehensive and rewarding Total Rewards package designed to support and empower our employees. The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range. $101,000.00 - $163,000.00 USD.
