Job descriptionScheduling appointments with medical professionals Supporting health documentation and compliance audits Communicating with families and interdisciplinary teams Making appropriate health referrals and screenings Ensuring accurate medication administration documentation Active NYS Nurse (LPN) License 1+ year of experience with intellectual / developmental disabilities Background check clearance Proficient in scheduling and administrative tasks Strong communication skills Ability to work independently Calm and compassionate demeanor Flexibility in a dynamic environment Ability to manage medical situations effectively 2+ years of experience in a similar role Associates Degree in Nursing Experience in OPWDD or special education Strong interpersonal skills
A leading educational institution in Queens, New York is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their facility. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced nurse to provide support in an OPWDD residential setting.
About the Opportunity :
- Hybrid or Remote : Not applicable
- Shift : Flexible (choose between 7a-3p, 8a-4p, or 9a-5p)
- Schedule : Monday to Friday (30 hours)
- Setting : Residential based within an OPWDD environment
