Schedule Shift : 6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM Job Description The Cardiovascular Progressive Care RN will provide high-quality care to patients recovering from cardiovascular surgeries. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of patient diagnoses including those related to heart failure, chest pain, and sepsis among others. Responsibilities Manage post-operative care for patients undergoing cardiovascular and vascular surgeries. Administer medications and monitor vital signs according to established protocols. Provide support for patients during recovery from procedures such as CABG, TAVR, thoracotomy, and more. Oversee and educate patients on the use of equipment such as epidural pumps and IV infusion systems. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have experience in step-down and telemetry nursing. ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
