The first Rooster’s opened in Winston-Salem in 1992 as Noble’s Grille, and has been a part of the cultural fabric of the North Carolina Triad ever since.
In 2006, Noble brought the first Rooster’s to Charlotte. It was his second restaurant in Charlotte the first being Noble’s, a fine dining restaurant that he operated from 2000 to 2010, also in SouthPark.
Rooster’s, however, led the transformational shift in popularity from fine dining to upscale casual dining in Charlotte, focusing on a more approachable style of dining like what you would experience in the chef’s home.
The shift showed itself in the decor of the restaurant, the menu, the presentation. Each illustrates simplicity and purity.
No more white table cloths, but impeccable service and quality food remain the center of attention.
Chef Noble and his Rooster’s team expanded in 2012, opening a third Rooster’s in Uptown Charlotte. The restaurant is located in the Bank of America building with proximity to Spectrum Center and the Belk Theatre, making it a favorite for business lunches and dinners, as well as pre and post-show / game dinner and drinks.
