The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, adhering to the guidelines / procedures set by the school and Spur. The primary responsibilities of this position are working alongside teachers and staff in their day-to-day activities with students . Candidates are expected to represent the school and program positively and professionally. Candidates are to maintain confidentiality at all times and can maintain emotional control under stress. DUTIES :

• Provide appropriate supervision for students to ensure safety and support
• Work closely with the lead teacher / follow written and oral instruction
• Facilitate small group and one-on-one instruction
• Assist with testing and evaluation to determine student progress
• Provide enrichment and remedial assistance as required
• Setting up basic technology equipment to support classroom instructions
• Able to work on an on-call basis
• Perform related duties as assigned such as lunch duty, hall duty, or toileting assistance
• The ability to lift heavy objects 65 lbs. or more
• Performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned Requirements
• Minimum Qualifications :

Must be 21 years of age

Compensation

This position pays $18.00 per hour
