Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer an exciting travel opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in Elmhurst, New York . This contract features a competitive weekly blended rate of $1,300 , working five 8-hour day shifts per week (1 : 00 PM - 9 : 00 PM) , totaling 40 hours weekly , with overtime opportunities available .

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician :

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently

Verify prescription information and maintain accurate patient records

Manage medication inventory, ensuring proper storage and labeling of drugs

Process insurance claims and handle prescription orders in compliance with state and federal laws

Provide excellent customer service by answering patient questions and coordinating with healthcare providers

Support sterile and non-sterile compounding under supervision as needed

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment

Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician :

Active Pharmacy Technician license and registration with the NYS Department of Education

At least 1 year of recent pharmacy technician experience (hospital or retail setting)

Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medical terminology, and prescription processing

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
